Visit of Director General, Department of Law and Order, Ministry of Home Affairs, Bhutan
On 05-04-2023, Dasho Pasang Dorji, New Director General Department of Law and Order, Ministry of Home Affairs Bhutan and Dasho Tashi Penjore, Outgoing Director General DLO, MHA Bhutan and their team visited DC Office Barpeta. The team participated in an informal meeting with Shri Aayush Garg, IAS Deputy Commissioner Barpeta and Shri Amitabh Sinha APS SP Barpeta. DC Barpeta in his welcome address stated that these visit by dignitaries from Bhutan at the grassroots level would built and strengthen the Indo-Bhutan Bilateral ties. Both the Director general in their speech expressed that Barpeta has been serving as an important trade and commerce centre for the people of Bhutan since immemorial.
